Consumer Cancellation Rights
If you are a consumer purchasing for personal, non-business use, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing by email at support@sunshinesocket.co.uk within the 14-day cancellation period. You must then return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us. Return shipping costs for unwanted products are the responsibility of the purchaser and will not be refunded. You may arrange your own return using a fully insured, tracked courier at your own cost, or we can arrange collection on your behalf. If we arrange collection, the cost will be communicated to you before collection is arranged and will be deducted from your refund.
Once you have notified us of your cancellation, we will process your refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back from you, or 14 days after you provide evidence that you have returned them, whichever is earlier. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of return. Goods should be returned in their original condition and packaging where possible, unused and uninstalled. We reserve the right to deduct from the refund an amount reflecting any reduction in value of the goods if they have been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
The right to cancel does not apply to business customers. Please see our Terms and Conditions for business customer terms.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your goods arrive damaged or are found to be faulty, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at support@sunshinesocket.co.uk.
We will handle the matter in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which may include repair, replacement, refund or price reduction. Where goods are faulty or not as described, we will cover reasonable return costs where required by law. We may ask for faulty goods to be returned to the manufacturer or another appropriate party for inspection or testing. If testing indicates that the product is not faulty, we may return it to you and may not provide a refund, subject always to your statutory rights.

For warranty claims under the manufacturer’s 10-year warranty, after 12 months from purchase we will assist you by directing you to the manufacturer’s warranty process, which may offer a faster resolution. We will provide the relevant manufacturer contact details upon request. Using the manufacturer’s warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Warranty cover is subject to the applicable warranty terms, correct installation, permitted use and product exclusions. Please keep your proof of purchase, serial numbers and installation records.
